Meditation is the foundational yoga practice, and it supports and enhances all other yogic practices. Without it, other yogic practices do not have the opportunity to reach their optimal desired effects.
Meditation is an essential practice to quieting the mind. By meditating daily, one progressively gets to the source of the mind, which is pure consciousness. It is also key to unlocking one’s full potential. When we meditate, we expand our view of the relative reality and we get in touch with the supreme silence. We dip into the unified field of consciousness.
Mindfulness equals no mind, it is the state of being fully present and aware. Meditation is crucial for that. It develops our capacity to observe emotional fluctuations (thoughts and patterns that arise). It reduces stress, anxiety, helps sleeping cycles, increases energy and vitality, enhances clarity and intuition…and that is just the tip of the iceberg.
Move in the direction of your best version, and rise up to the human being you want to be. Get to know your essential nature, and who you are beyond the content of the mind. That is the best gift you can offer to yourself. It is one of the greatest acts of self-love…if not the greatest.
The initiation – from the oral tradition:
Sattva Himalayan Meditation comes from the lineage of Babaji and Paramahansa Yogananda. It is a seated practice, and the techniques are ancient, simple, comprehensive, powerful and effective. It is a Kriya-based and mantra-based system.
Main goal:
This meditation sadhana aims to enliven the awareness to content-less awareness, to create the transcendence.
How it works:
This private initiation can be done in person or virtually. It includes receiving key information on meditation, initiation to the techniques, and receiving a personal mantra (Bija-based mantra).
The initiation is around 2 to 3 hours – over two sessions. There will be weekly check-in sessions for 15-20 minutes for one month, approximately, post-initiation.
The meditation initiation is also available for small groups. A discount is applied for this format.
